Because I generally work alone and with smaller equipment, I can only manage lawns sitting on lots up to 7,500 sq ft. The average lot size in Founders seems to be about 5,500 sq ft (1/8 acre). Google Maps can help you estimate your lot size if you are curious.
-
For the sake of efficiency, I currently work only in the Founders Village area, and I generally concentrate on just mowing, trimming and edging. I am happy to refer you to trusted local businesses that offer more services or that work beyond the Founders Village subdivision.

I can ONLY provide seasonal; once per week; every week lawn care. I cannot efficiently provide one-time or bi-weekly services. You will not need to sign a contract, though I do request that my customers agree to this seasonal commitment for lawn mowing. Your lawn mowing service is therefore continuous in that I will return each week throughout the season (May - Oct) unless you ask that your service be discontinued.

Except in rare instances, I only mulch the clippings, returning the nutrients to your lawn. It is much healthier on both your lawn and the environment. Contrary to widely held belief, mulching does NOT contribute to thatch! Over watering, unbalanced fertilization and indiscriminate use of fungicides and insecticides are the biggest contributors to thatch, not properly mulched grass clippings!

Mulch is a natural fertilizer and weed killer. It organically returns a slow, steady release of nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus back into your lawn.
-
Though virtually invisible on your lawn, mulch breaks down very quickly and acts as both a sunshield and water retainer.
-
Reduces (though not entirely eliminates) the need for feeding your lawn with nitrogen fertilizers.
-
A 2018 report from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, shows Americans generate about 34.7 million TONS of yard trimmings per year- much of which goes to landfills.
-
In short, the benefits of mulching far outweigh any disadvantages in a healthy lawn. Here is what the experts at Colorado State University Extension have to say about mulching.
For more info go to Douglas County's CSU extension and "Ask an Expert" or just Google "Grass Mulching" (or something similar) for further evidence of mulching's benefits.
